Nashville-based country music singer-songwriter Ashley Cooke released a new song “it's been a year” along with a music video on December 6, 2022.
The song serves as a sentimental rewind on her unprecedented 2022.
It was written by Ashley Cooke, Brett Tyler, and Will Weatherly. Produced by Jimmy Robbins.
The track follows up the double singles “running back / dirt on ‘em”, which were released last month.
“This year has been nothing short of a whirlwind.
