Rozette Releases New Song “Salt In The Water”
Canadian singer-songwriter Jenn Beaupre, aka Rozette released a new song “Salt In The Water” on November 18, 2022.
The song is her second single of 2022, following “Now” released back in May.
It was written by Jennifer Lynn Beaupre, Michael Randolph Schlosser and Sarah Boulton. Produced by Mike Schlosser.
Rozette said of the song, “'People are hard to hate close up. Move in.' - Brené Brown. This quote really resonated with me and I ended up bringing this sentiment into my songwriting session. The reality is, we all want the same thing: To love and be loved. To feel safe. To see and be seen. Underneath all the opinions, and the often divisive issues in our society, we are more the same than different. AND: We are all doing our very best.”
She continued, “That’s what 'Salt In The Water' is about. I wanted to talk about how challenging the past few years have been, relationship wise, for everybody. Distance, separation and division have put walls up between friends and family. It's been really hard to watch and experience.”- source : Apple Music
