Anne-Marie & Aitch Perform “PSYCHO” on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge
British singer-songwriter Anne-Marie appeared on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform her latest song “PSYCHO” with British rapper Aitch and a cover of Sam Smith's “Unholy”.
“PSYCHO” was released by Anne-Marie back in September. She worked with Aitch for the first time.
The track interpolates Lou Bega's 1999 “Mambo No. 5 (A Little Bit Of…)”.
She said of the collaboration with Aitch, “This song is mad actually, because I've been doing writing camps for the first time ever. I've never really been a fan of them because I'm quite a control freak. All right, guys, when you pick like your favorite producers and writers and you go to a place where you can stay there, it's like I'm like a holiday. And you just write music together. So we've been doing that. And in the last writing camp, we did this song, and I just knew straight I was like, this is the first one of the next bit of my life. And I just put it on TikTok. I didn't even I didn't ask anyone else. I'm just gonna put it up and I don't know if my label we're gonna be happy with this or whatever. But I did it and they were like, 'Oh, this is cool was this song, and then everyone started saying, Ah, it sounds so synchronous Aitch Aitch Aitch Aitch'. So I messaged him and I was like, seems as if people want you to do this song. And he said, 'Yeah, let's do it.' And then that was it.”- dR52nzb9q4s
