Rudimental Premieres New Song “Break My Heart” on BBC Radio 1
London-based electro-pop band Rudimental, consisting of Piers Aggett, Kesi Dryden and Leon "Locksmith" Rolle, premiered a new song “Break My Heart” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The band teamed up with British singer-songwriter L Devine on the track.
In the past, L Devine co-wrote “Come Over” with the band in 2020, featuring Anne-Marie and Tion Wayne.
The track was written by Piers Aggett, Kesi Dryden, Leon Rolle, and Olivia Rebecca Devine. Produced by Rudimenta.
The band told Clara Amfo about the song, “This came from a session that we was in with L Devine, super sick singer, songwriter, amazing artist, and we've been writing quite a lot of her lately. Yeah, this was just a topic that came around everyone's been through some heartbreak. And it just felt right would it musically is great and at the time.”- The band will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut album “HOME” next year and plans to release their upcoming album to celebrate.
Also, they will take place a special show at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 5, 2023.
They talked about their collaborations so far and the new album, “I mean it's like a it's a two way, journey and like really is it's a platform for them as much as it is an opportunity for them. It's an opportunity for us to really share a creative, like journey and we've always been into working with and developing talents. That's kind of something we've always loved to do. So I think that's kind of furthered on this new record a lot more.” - source : BBC Radio 1
