Aly & AJ Releases New Song “With Love From”
American pop rock duo Aly & AJ, consisting of Aly Michalka and AJ Michalka, released a new song “With Love From” on November 2, 2022.
The song is the first single off of their upcoming fifth studio album of the same name, which is expected to be released in the Spring of 2023.
It was written by Aly Michalka and AJ Michalka, Yves Rothman and James McAlister.
Aly Michalka told Variety about the song, “We wanted to make a record that kind of dug deeper into Americana folk music, and we're not claiming that this record is among the American greats, but we did our best in telling our story and staying true to who we are as songwriters and musicians.”
The accompanying music video was directed by Stephen Ringer, who is married to Aly Mishalka and known for the 2015 indie film “Weepah Way for Now”.- The single and album will be part of the sister's recent distribution signing with SoundCloud, adding another milestone for them over the past two years, notably under their own leadership as independent artists, songwriters and creators.
