ILLENIUM & MAX Team Up for New Song “Worst Day”
American DJ ILLENIUM and American singer-songwriter MAX teamed up again to release a new song “Worst Day” on October 21, 2022.
This marks the second collaboration between ILLENIUM and MAX following the 2017 “Beautiful Creatures”.
For ILLENIUM, the song follows up the collaborative song "From the Ashes" with Skylar Grey, which was released last month.
While, MAX joined in the song after the release of his latest song "It's You" with Keshi.
The track was written by James Abrahart, Jason Evigan, Sarah Hudson, Nicholas Miller, Taylor Dearman, and MAX. Produced by ILLENIUM and Jason Evigan.
The accompanying music video was directed by Rafatoon.
ILLENIUM told VMAN about the song, “The song imagines what life could be like without someone you love or after just losing someone. It's like saying, ‘It could have been the worst day of my life,’ or ‘It could have been life-changing.’ Those kinds of moments remind you why it's so amazing to love and to be grateful.”
MAX said, “I feel like I haven't been doing as many features with other people because I love staying in my own album lane, but with Illenium, he taps into such an emotional place that is so rare, especially in the electronic space. And I think that's why we've worked so well together because it's very vulnerable.”- source : Apple Music
