Rosa Linn Drops New Music Video for “Snap”
Armenian singer-songwriter Rosa Linn dropped a new music video for “Snap” on October 8, 2022.
The song was released back in March. At that time, the accompanying music video was directed by Aramayis Hayrapetyan, who filmed in Yerevan.
This time, she released the re-imagined video for the song with director Dano Cerny, who filmed in the US.
On the new clip, she seated in the backseat of a vintage car, and travels through an endless expanse of arid terrain, reminiscent of parts of Arizona.
The track was written by Rosa Linn, Larzz Principato, Courtney Harrell, Allie Crystal and Tamar Kaprelian.
The song represented Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy.
Following the contest, the song went viral on TikTok. Then, she signed to Columbia Records in August 2022.
Rosa Linn said of the song, “I think we've all been at a snapping point, where it felt like there's no way out and that the entire world is just crumbling down around you," Rosa shares. "You start questioning everything, including yourself. I have been there. And what I realized was that I had the strength to shape my reality - it just took getting out of my own way and finding inner-peace. It's all about self-love and accepting that you are enough. Writing 'Snap' was a form of therapy for me and I hope that it can be that for others who are also going through hard times.”
