Godsmack Returns With New Song “Surrender”
American rock band Godsmack, consisting of Sully Erna (vocals/guitar), Robbie Merrill (bass), Tony Rombola (lead guitar), Shannon Larkin (drums), returned with a new song “Surrender” on September 28, 2022.
The song is their first music in four years since the 2018 album “When Legends Rise”.
Also the track will appear on their upcoming eighth studio album.
It was written by Salvatore Erna and Erik Ron. Produced by Dave Fortman.
“'Surrender' is a very cut and dry song,” Sully Erna said of the song. “It's simply about the exhaustion we can all feel in relationships at times from the redundancy of fighting with each other.
