Kane Brown Releases New Album “Different Man”: Streaming
American country music singer-songwriter Kane Brown released his third studio album “Different Man” along with a new music video for “Thank God” on September 9, 2022 via RCA Records Nashville.
It is his first album in four years since 2018 album “Experiment”.
The album comprises 17-track, featuring guest appearances from Blake Sheltonan and his wife Katelyn Brown, including previously released songs “Grand”, “Like I Love Country Music”, “Whiskey Sour”, “One Mississippi” and “Leave You Alone”.
Kane Brown co-produced the album for the first time along with Dann Huff, Lindsay Rimes and Andrew Goldstein.
The album offers a wide variety of sounds and experiences across its 17 tracks.
He told Billboard, “We went from a demo to a master recording to redoing everything. I was listening to the album and not liking the sounds. For example, with 'Nothin' I'd Change,' I really wanted it to sound like Motown at first. We had a lot of strings on it, but after listening to it, it was way too theatrical. We kept revamping things, working and finding the sound I've been looking for, adding in more rock and country sounds and all of that affects how I perform onstage and put my show together.”- Kane Brown is one of country's few non-white stars and has No. 1 hit album and regularly charts radio hits, but still gets shut out of awards nominations.
He told New York Times, “I used to always be nervous about what people were going to think, and I was kind of scared — I didn't want people to think that I was leaving country music because that's my heart. But now, it's just to the point where it's like, I'm a dad now, two kids; I care what they think. So I'm just not that scared kid anymore.”

“Thank God” featuring Katelyn Brown
“She doesn't want to be an artist — she just loves singing. She's always singing around the house and her voice is beautiful. We've been looking for songs and probably went through about five of them before we got this one from one of my writers at [publishing company] Verse 2 and it was supposed to be a solo song. We changed it to a duet, and she fell in love this song. Personally, I think it is the biggest song off the record.”
“Different Man” featuring Blake Shelton
“I was driving to the gym — that's where I really have time to think and listen. I wanted one more feature on the album, and Blake was the first person I thought of. The song just reminded me of the 'God's Country' kind of Blake Shelton, so I felt like it made sense.” -
