Spiritbox Releases New EP “Rotoscope”: Streaming
Canadian heavy metal band Spiritbox, consisting of Courtney LaPlante (vocals), Mike Stringer (guitar) and Zev Rosenberg (drums), has released a new 3-track EP “Rotoscope”.
The EP contains “Rotoscope”, "Hysteria" and “Sew Me Up”. It is their first project since the 2021 debut album “Eternal Blue”.
The title track is accompanied by a music video, which was directed by Max Moore.
Back in April, the band said of the EP in an interview with Kerrang!.
Courtney LaPlante said, “They're really different to the songs on Eternal Blue. I think some people might even hate them. But that makes me excited. I thrive on negativity! We feel really energised playing and recording the new songs.”
Mike Stringer continued, “Eternal Blue spanned over two years. And so much happened over those years. Now we're different people with different tastes and it's nice to be able to sit down and be like, 'What do I want to hear? What do I enjoy?'”- Photo by Jonathan Weiner
