MARBLES Returns With New Song “Heading Out”
Norwegian alt-pop band MARBLES, consisting of Adrian Sandberg (keyboards), Marcus Widmer (guitar), Ferdinand Widmer (vocals/bass) and Marius Ringen (drums), returned with a new song “Heading Out” on June 24, 2022.
It is their first music in two years since the 2020 self-titled debut album.
The track was written and produced by Ferdinand Widmer, Marcus Widmer, Adrian Einestor Sandberg, and Marius Ringen.
About their inspiration behind the song, the band described that they hoped to encapsulate the feeling of excitement and anticipation that comes with any time you get a chance to “head out” from the big city to escape for some rest and relaxation.
They said, “It's not just about the luxury of being able to travel, it's about finding your own little precious moment amidst your normal day to day situation. Maybe even just in your mind and with your imagination! Being aware of a contrast between your everyday life and what you feel can be – and what you can do. Defining it is up to you.”
