Panic! At The Disco Announces New Album “Viva Las Vengeance”, Shares Title Track
American singer-songwriter Brendon Urie's solo project Panic! At The Disco is back. Brendon Urie announced his seventh studio album “Viva Las Vengeance” would be releasd on August 19, 2022.
It is his first album in four years since the 2018 album “Pray for the Wicked”.
The album comprises 12-track, produced by Brendon Urie, Jake Sinclair and Mike Viola. He recorded the album live to a tape machine with Jake Sinclair and Mike Viola in Los Angeles.
Brendon Urie described the album as “cinematic musical journey about the fine line between taking advantage of your youth, seizing the day and burning out”.
From the album he unveiled the title track along with a music video directed by Brendan Walter. The song pays homage to his hometown.
“'Viva Las Vengeance' is a look back at who I was 17 years ago and who I am now with the fondness I didn't have before,” Brendon Urie said of the track. “I didn't realize I was making an album and there was something about the tape machine that kept me honest.”
Panic! At The Disco embarks on Viva Las Vengeance Tour 2022 in support of the album in the US, Canada, Europe and the UK this fall.
The tour kicks off at Moody Center in Austin, TX on September 8, 2022.
