Why Don't We Releases New Song “How Do You Love Somebody”
American pop band Why Don't We, consisting of Jonah Marais, Corbyn Besson, Daniel Seavey, Jack Avery, and Zach Herron, released a new song “How Do You Love Somebody” along with a music video on May 31, 2022.
The song is the third single off of their forthcoming third studio album, following “Let Me Down Easy (Lie)” and “Just Friends”.
The video was filmed in Los Angeles and was directed by Antony Muse, who also created the band previous videos for “Let Me Down Easy (Lie)” and “Just Friends”.
“’How Do You Love Somebody’ is a new and fresh song for us. Every song we make, we feel one step closer to defining the question ‘who is Why Don’t We?’ and I don’t think the band has ever been so unanimous that a song defines who we are as ‘How Do You Love Somebody’ does,” the band said of the song in a statement.“This song is filled with electric energy and even more electric guitars. It’s an anthem for all who have had a past lover that moved on too quickly, which all 5 of us can, unfortunately, relate to. We had so much fun making ‘How Do You Love Somebody’ and we hope you enjoy it as much we do!”
The new album follows up their most successful album “The Good Times and the Bad Ones”, which was released in 2021 and reached No. 3 on the US Billboard 200. Also they wrote and produced the previous album by themselves for the first time.
Back in August, 2021, band member Jonah Marais confirmed that a third studio album was being finalised for Why Don't We.- source : Apple Music
