Hot Milk Releases New Song “Teenage Runaways”
Manchester-based emo pop band Hot Milk, consisting of Han Mee and Jim Shaw, released a new song “Teenage Runaways” from their upcoming third EP “The King and Queen of Gasoline” along with a music video.
The song received its first play during BBC Radio 1's Future Artists with Jack Saunders.
It was written and produced by Han Mee and Jim Shaw. The band recorded the song in Salford, England.
The band said of the song, “We’ve been running from the norm our whole bloody lives. Being in a band and living the way we want never went down well with our families and we got so much stick for even daring to want more from life. This song is about the fact we ran away and never bloody stopped.”
Also, Han Mee shared on social media, “this song is for anyone who ever got told they couldn’t, who in the face of “NO” just kept fkin goin anyway,,,who went against everythin their family wanted them to be,,i just never stopped runnin, this song has already given me so much,, n there’s still somethin v special to come”
The new 6-track EP is set to be released on August 5, 2022 via Music For Nations.- source : Apple Music
