Why Don't We Releases New Song “Just Friends”
American pop band Why Don't We released a new song “Just Friends” on May 13, 2022.
The song is the follow-up to “Let Me Down Easy (Lie)”, which was released last month.
The band post a snippet of the track to TikTok on April 20th.
It was written by Jack Avery, Corbyn Besson, Zach Herron, Jonah Marais and Daniel Seavey.
The accompanying music video was directed by Antony Muse, who also directed their previous video for “Let Me Down Easy (Lie)”.
The video was filmed in Malibu, California and shows “part II” as a sequel to “Let Me Down Easy (Lie)”.
The band said of the song, “Just Friends is the feel-good smash of the summer! We wrote it in Miami a couple of months ago and it was one of the most fun days we’ve ever had in the studio. The song is about the classic feeling of wanting to be more than friends with someone you’ve known for a while, and all the emotions that come with that. We hope everyone rolls their windows down and blasts this one all summer long!”
The band embarks on The Good Times Only Tour this summer. The Aces and JVKE will support the tour.
The tour kicks off at USANA Amphitheatre in West Valley City on June 17, 2022 and will conclude at White River Amphitheatre in Auburn on August 24, 2022.
