Sasha Alex Sloan Releases New Song “Adult”
American singer-songwriter Sasha Alex Sloan, formerly Sasha Sloan, will release her upcoming sophomore album “I Blame The World” this Friday (May 13) via RCA Records. It is her first album in tow years.
From the album, she unveiled the final promotional single called “Adult” along with a music video.
The track was written by Sasha Alex Sloan and King Henry. Produced by King Henry and Stuart Price.
The new album comprises 11-track, produced by Chad Copelin, King Henry, Mike Elizondo and Stuart Price.
She wrote over 50 songs for the album. Recently, she said of the album in an interview with Consequence.
“It was really cathartic,” Sasha Alex Sloan said. “I couldn't write about anything else. I think now I'm in a better headspace now than when I wrote the album. I didn't even really like music at the time I was writing it. I felt like nothing was good, this album isn't good, the world is on fire.”
She continued, “It was really cathartic to get it all out and then start living life again. What inspires me the most is having authentic experiences and meeting new people — what was so hard about the pandemic was how limited our experiences were.”- source : Apple Music
