Meg Myers Releases New Song “CHILDREN OF LIGHT II”
American singer-songwriter Meg Myers released a new song “CHILDREN OF LIGHT II” on May 6, 2022 via Sumerian Records.
The song follows up “HTIS” featuring Luna Shadows & Carmen Vandenberg, which was released back in March.
She wrote the song a few years ago. The track was co-written by Meg Myers and Andy D. Park. Produced by Andy D. Park and Thom Powers.
She has already filmed a music video for the song, which will be premiered soon.
Meg Myers shared on social media, “Wrote this one a few years ago on my piano. This is a song of alchemy and was inspired by my awakening in 2018 when I began reconnecting with my spirit guides through meditation. It's about facing our fears so we can become more of who we really are, which is multi-dimensional. It reminds us that we are spiritual beings having a temporary human experience and all the answers we seek can be found within💊”
Producer Andy D. Park said, “I produced, co-wrote and engineered. This was the first song Meg and I worked on for her album, back in 2019, mere days before the lockdowns happened in LA. We entered the studio (thank you @littlejoker87 for your unending patience and hospitality) without expectations and with open hearts and minds, and came out with a huge quantity of reality bending, and emotionally charged songs. I'm so excited to be sharing the first of these with you now.”- The song will appear on her upcoming album. “I've always been drawn to making music as a form of therapy, but until I had my awakening I didn't fully grasp why I was doing it,” she said. “When I was able to step back and see my story from a higher perspective, I realized that everything I've gone through is part of my mission to do things differently and create something that helps others-especially the people who've experienced trauma and have this confusion about how to release it. I believe there's so much healing potential in all of us, and now I feel empowered to help other people find that and learn how to let go.”
