Two Friends Releases New Song “Wish You Were Here” featuring John K
Los Angeles-based DJ duo Two Friends, consisting of Eli Sones and Matthew Halper, teamed up with American singer-songwriter John K to release a new song “Wish You Were Here”.
This marks the first collaboration between Two Friends and John K.
The track was written by Neil Ormandy, Jake Torrey, Matthew Halper, Eli Sones, John Poulson and Dallas Koehlke. Produced by Dallas K and Two Friends.
The accompanying music video was directed by Matt Shaffar. The clip features two friends growing up together with their lovely dog Sally.
John K said of the song, “It was the middle of quarantine when Two Friends asked me to hop on this collaboration. I remember locking myself in the basement of my in-laws house and cutting vocals by myself for hours until I got it right. 'Wish You Were Here' is a sweet, sad banger. There’s pain and longing in the vocal and tempo in the track. Loved working with Matt and Eli and can’t wait for everyone to hear this.
