Andy Grammer & R3HAB Team Up for New Song “Saved My Life”
American singer-songwriter Andy Grammer and Dutch DJ R3HAB teamed up to release a new song “Saved My Life”.
In the past, Andy Grammer and R3HAB have worked together for "Don't Give Up on Me" in 2019, “Good Example” and “Close to You” in 2020.
Andy Grammer introduced the song to fans during the first leg of his “The Art of Joy” tour. He dedicated the track to his Godmother, Leigh, who has supported the acclaimed artist since his mother passed away. TikTok also featured the song in their “Early Song Preview” campaign, which generated over 7 million views in less than a week.
It was written by Andrew Grammer, Jake Torrey, Johnny Simpson, Fadil El Ghoul and Jon Levine. Produced by Jon Levine and R3HAB.
The accompanying music video was directed by Cooper Davidson.
“I wrote this song about my Godmother Leigh who really showed up for me to all the big and small life things after my mother passed away when I was 25,” said Andy Grammer. “It’s been amazing seeing people connect to the song so I wanted to give tribute to people who have shown up in the lives of my fans as well in the video.”- He shared on social media, “The world runs on acts of selflessness. Every day, people show up for each other in big and small ways that often go unseen and not acknowledged. In early leaks of the song I heard from those who were adopted, those who were helped through addiction, those with teachers that made a huge difference to them, all saying it made them think of someone who “saved their life” in one form or another.
I wrote it with my godmother in mind but can’t wait to let it go into the world and take on a new meaning with each story. I love you all. Hope you love it ❤️🎶” - source : Apple Music
