Foals Releases New Song “Looking High”
British rock band Foals, consisting of Yannis Philippakis, Jack Bevan and Jimmy Smith, has released a new song “Looking High” from their upcoming seventh studio album “Life Is Yours”.
The song is the third single off of the album, following “2am” and “Wake Me Up”.
It was written by Jack Bevan, Yannis Philippakis and Jimmy Smith. Produced by John Hill.
The accompanying music video was directed by Kit Monteith.
The band frontman Yannis Philippakis said of the song, “This is looking back to a more hedonistic time in my life, and a more innocent time in society in general, pre-pandemic and before the existential threat of climate change… It was before clubs started to close down and our cities started to change... There’s an element of being haunted by nightlife that’s no longer there.”
