Kelis Releases New Song “FEED THEM”
American singer-songwriter Kelis teamed up with a plant-based meal delivery service Daily Harvest to release a new song “FEED THEM” along with a music video.
The song is included on the collaborative EP “Daily Harvest: Eat The Solution” in honor of Earth Month.
The EP features five singer-songwriters, including Kelis, Kyla Imani, Shuba and Damoyee.
Each artist shares their perspective on the role food plays in solving the climate and health crises.
The track was written by Linden Berelowitz and Stephen Satterthwaite. Produced by Linden Jay Berelowitz. The video was filmed at Kelis' home farm in Temecula, California.
Also, the song will appear on her upcoming seventh studio album “Dirt”.
Kelis said in a statement, “If we're able to plant these little seeds, give people the information and let them see how feasible and tangible eating the solution really is, that's the first step towards change.”
She shared on social media, “The Earth gives us everything we need to nourish ourselves and our families, if we take care of it. Healing our planet doesn't have to be so complicated.
