Cody Simpson Announces New album “CODY SIMPSON”, Shares New Song “Let Go”
Australian singer-songwriter Cody Simpson announced his fourth studio album “CODY SIMPSON” would be released on April 8, 2022 via his own label Coast House Records and The Orchard.
It is his first full-length release in seven years. “Producing this album not only was a chance to reclaim some innocence — which was temporarily lost in America — but it has an ever so subtle sense of time and place,” Cody Simpson said. “I'm ready for a new chapter in my life. Recording this album and the studio we did it in, with all this richness of history there, was a real cathartic and intrinsic experience.”
On March 11, he released a new song “Let Go” from the album. It was written by Cody Simpson, Adrian Cota and Emma Taylor. Produced by Adrian Cota.
The accompanying music video was directed by frequent collaborators Jamie Green and Jay Button in Byron Bay. The video stars Cody Simpson and Vanessa Valladares.
