Rex Orange County Releases New Song “OPEN A WINDOW” featuring Tyler, The Creator
British singer-songwriter Alexander O'Connor, aka Rex Orange County released the final promotional single called “OPEN A WINDOW” from his upcoming fourth studio album “WHO CARES?”.
This time, he teamed up American rapper Tyler, The Creator on the track.
It was written by Benny Sings, Rex Orange County and Tyler, The Creator.
Alexander O'Connor told Zane Lowe of Apple Music 1 about the album, “I was looking after myself, honestly, but it was worth it. I wouldn't be able to come give you anything if I didn't take some time for myself. It's been a little minute, but I am so happy, I can't even tell you. I feel great. I feel healthy. I feel ready.”
He said of a phone call with Tyler that inspired him to ignore the haters and believe in his work, “He just told me like, 'The thing is man, there's nothing, there's no such thing as good or bad. It's just it's either for you or not.' So I heard something the other day, it wasn't me but I knew.. a 12-year-old kid in Atlanta [would] hear that and.. feel the same way I felt when I heard Songs in the Key of Life for the first time.”
The new album comprises 11-track and is out March 11, 2022. It is his first album in three years.- KGkabBe-44I
