Eddie Benjamin Releases New Song “Weatherman”
Los Angeles-based Australian singer-songwriter Eddie Benjamin has released a new song “Weatherman” along with a music video.
The song is taken from his upcoming debut album. It was written by Eddie Benjamin and Kid Culture, who also produced the track.
The accompanying video was directed by Tyler Yee.
“I felt out of control and didn't know what to do,” Eddie Benjamin said of the song. “I couldn't help how I felt, and it summed up all these extremities in a really vulnerable way. You're talking to yourself, asking for a sunny day.”
He combines a sophisticated of soul, funk, and pop influences, and creates a classic but contemporary sound.
He added, “I'd like to expose this generation to timeless songcraft in a contemporary way.”
Eddie Benjamin supports Justin Bieber's Justice World Tour. The tour kicked off at Pechanga Arena on February 18, 2022.
But Justin Bieber has tested positive for Covid-19. He was supposed to perform as part of his Justice World Tour in Las Vegas on February 20th. The rescheduled date for Las Vegas will be June 28th.
