Cassyette Premieres New Song “Mayhem” on BBC Radio 1
British rock singer-songwriter Cassyette premiered a new song “Mayhem” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Jack Saunders.
The song follows up “Behind Closed Doors” featuring KID BRUNSWICK.
Cassyette told Jack Saunders about the song, “This song is about a breakup I had. And it's just kind of about the feeling that leads you in when you go through situations like that. That's it in a nutshell.”
She continued, “I feel like it's really important for them to make sure that I'm real like with what I'm saying and my music and everything that I write comes from an experience or something I've been through. So it is important for me that definitely.”
She embarks in her headline tour in the UK and the US. The tour kicks off at Underworld in London on February 17, 2022.
She said of the tour, “I'm so nervous. I don't know because it will literally be out for like, a couple of hours. I hope people like, it will be wild anytime like I'm playing live and people sing your songs like it is the weirdest thing. And the most amazing thing, because you forget that people are listening to it you kind of like persona and then it's just like, out in the universe. And then when you watch people singing it back, it's so nice, because it feels like you made the song for a reason.”
