Bastille Performs “Plug In...” on VEVO
British pop rock band Bastille performed “Plug In...” on Vevo live series.
The performance follows up “No Bad Days”, which was performed by the band frontman Dan Smith last month.
The video was directed by Kyle Goldberg.
Both songs appeared on their latest album “Give Me the Future”, which was released on February 4, 2022 for the first time in three years.
“Plug In...” was written by Dan Smith and co-produced by Mark Crew.
Dan Smith told Apple Music about the song, “'Plug In…' was one of the last songs. I wrote it by myself. A bit like with the track 'Doom Days' off our last album, it was an opportunity to address and talk about loads of the themes and topics in and around this album that I've been researching and thinking about. I wanted to make something really cinematic and contrast these beautiful, live, real strings with a heavily processed lead vocal. It's just a brain splurge of all of the things that feel f**ked up and ridiculous about reality at the moment.”- BG6aNEpgHVw
