Beth Keeping Releases New Song “I'm not looking for a friend”
British singer-songwriter Beth Keeping released her first single of 2022 called “I'm not looking for a friend” on February 4, 2022.
The song received its first play during BBC Music Introducing.
The track follows up the previous song “I thought this would be a love song” since her 2021 EP “San Francisco”.
It was written by Beth Keeping, and Kaity Rae, who also produced the track.
Beth Keeping said of the song, “It's about being clear on what you want and intentional about going after it. It recognises that friendships can gradually develop into something more, and this process can be complicated and confusing, but you can't sit in that space forever - eventually you have to make a decision either way.”- Previous Song “I thought this would be a love song”
