Charlie Puth Returns With New Song “Light Switch”
American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth has returned with a new song “Light Switch” along with a music video.
The song received its first play during BBC Radio Radio 1's Future Sounds.
The track is the first single off of his upcoming third studio album “Charlie”, which is expected to be released later this year.
He produced and co-wrote the song with JKash and Jake Torrey. The video was directed by Christian Breslauer.
“On the songwriting level, it was really cool to share this song with the fans while I made it,” Charlie Puth said in a statement, “So they felt like they were involved at the very beginning of the song, like they almost wrote it with me.”
The new album is his first LP in four years since the 2018 album “Voicenotes”.
He said, “I've never had a chance to put out music that is truly me and every song on this album is my personality with some melody attached to it.”
Last year, he joined in British singer-songwriter Elton John's latest album “The Lockdown Sessions”, where he performed “After All”. The new song is the follow-up to it.- WFsAon_TWPQ
