Halsey Drops New Live Performance Video for “You asked for this”
American singer-songwriter Halsey has followed up the release of last week's live performance video for "honey" with another performance video for “You asked for this”.
Dani Vitale directed the video in Los Angeles as with the previous video.
The song is included on her fourth studio album “If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power”, which was released back in August.
Leading up to the album's release, a companion film of the same name was screened at select IMAX theaters, it was later released on HBO Max in October.
Also, the album is nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.
The track was written by Trent Reznor, Greg Kurstin, Atticus Ross and Halsey.
She shared on social media about the song, “You asked for this is a conversation between the me who is becoming a mom saying 'grow up' and the part that so desperately wants to remain a child. Wondering if we can co-exist, despite the massive change.”
