dj poolboi Drops New Music Video for Petula Clark's Cover “la nuit n'en finit plus” featuring Clio
Back in March, Austin based electronic music producer Adam Ansley, aka dj poolboi released his sophomore album “Stay Just a Little While Longer”.
From the album, he has dropped a new music video for “la nuit n'en finit plus” on December 2, 2021.
The song is a cover of British singer Petula Clark's 1970 song.
This time, he teamed up with French singer-songwriter Clio on the track. The video was directed by Julie Reynaud.
Adam Ansley said of the song, “I first heard Petula Clark's classic 1963 French song in the 2014 film 'Two days, One night'. It's a film I deeply connected with on its theme of depression and anxiety. The song fits perfectly. The chords are uplifting while the lyrics are profoundly melancholic which is something I've always gravitated towards; the idea of the happiness and sadness of life captured in one song. I was inspired to give my own interpretation and found Clio to be the perfect fit to put her vocal interpretation on the track.”- source : Apple Music
