British singer-songwriter and producer Fred again.. premiered a new song “Tate (How I Feel)” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The song is taken from his upcoming sophomore album “Actual Life 2 (February 2 - October 15 2021)”, which is out this Friday (November 19th).
It was written by Fred again.., Gary Lightbody, Irving Adjei, Jonny Quinn, Nathan Connolly, Paul Wilson and Paul Wilson.
Produced by Adam Midgley, Emmanuel Franklyn Adelabu, Joy Anonymous, PARISI and Fred again...
Canadian singer-songwriter Tate McRae and British rapper Headie One joined in the song as guest vocals.
Fred again.. told Clara Amfo, as “which is what take the beautiful voice of Tate McRae who's singing in the sample on this. Yeah, she's crazy, crazy good singer and I was just aimlessly scrolling as we all came from for the day, aimlessly and there's something in the video like Delve, it just felt honest. So yeah, I think something about that just to get folks through the kind of sincerity.”
The new album comprises 16-track. He said, “I'm just really excited to kind of do the second chapter and it was every October so it's like 10 months of my absolute heart. And I can't wait to do the next day.”- He shared on social media, “The song is kind of two different things to me, cos it’s about being in some kind of totally disorientated place which is very much where things were for me in June, but the music has this sort of driving positivity to it. I think that must’ve been brought by the friends I made it with. Because I jus don’t think it could’ve come from me! But I love the way those two aspects sort of juxtapose each other.”
