Tory Lanez Announces New Album “Alone At Prom”, Shares New Song “Lady Of Namek”
Canadian rapper Tory Lanez announced sixth studio album “Alone At Prom” would be released on December 1, 2021.
Tory Lanez shared about the 80s themed project on social media, “I get bored easily ... and god gave me a range of talents ... sometimes I feel like I take too much time putting music out that I want to hear in the moment ... and I keep the music that I wanna hear forever to myself ... ima stop doing that shit.”
From the album, the lead single called “Lady Of Namek” was released on November 15, 2021.
The song is inspired by sounds of '80s. It was written by Daystar Peterson.
The title of the song is inspired by Japanese comic “Dragon Ball Z”.
He said of the song, “That's the exact reason we called it LADY OF NAMEK !!! If there was ever a lady of namek she would def be iconic and one of a kind ... so it's kinda like a figure of speech ... but it's so unheard of !!! But yeah DBZ reference for sure !!!!”- source : Apple Music
