Luke Combs Wins Entertainer of the Year, Performs New Song “Doin' This” at The 55th Annual CMA Awards
American country music singer-songwriter Luke Combs performed his new song “Doin' This” for the first time at the 55th Annual CMA Awards at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on November 10, 2021.
Also he won Entertainer of the Year at the CMA Awards.
Luke Combs said of his performance, “It just felt like, man, it's kinda time to turn the page on this last album and start new. Start the next phase of it all.”
After the CMA, he officially released the song along with a music video.
The song will appear on his upcoming third studio album, which is expected to be released in 2022.
“I'm working on [my new album]. I've got a bunch of stuff that I'm trying to sort through,” he told Audacy's Katie Neal. “As far as songs go. I think it's like there's too many to pick from. I'm not saying that in an arrogant way at all, but I really love everything that we've done and trying to whittle it down has been difficult.”- 2YSqaI3IBpo
