Westlife Releases New Song “My Hero”
Irish boy band Westlife, consisting of Shane Filan, Markus Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne, will release their upcoming twelfth studio album “Wild Dreams” on November 26, 2021 via East West Records.
It is their first album in two years and is the first release on their own label.
From the album, the band unveiled a new song “My Hero” on November 5th.
British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran contributed the song with Steve McCutcheon.
Westlife said of the song, “My Hero has such beautiful lyrics. It is a powerful, heartfelt song which has such a strong meaning for all of us. The single reminds us of the heroics people have shown over the last 18 months and it also reflects on our own loved-ones who so often have been our personal heroes.”
The band continued, “The track is packed with emotion and has the potential to really connect with people. Performing it for millions of Pride of Britain viewers was the perfect launch for My Hero which will be included on our upcoming new album Wild Dreams.”- source : Apple Music
