Coldplay & Ed Sheeran Perform “Fix You” at Shepherd's Bush Empire
British rock band Coldplay and British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran performed "Fix You" at the launch show of the band's ninth studio album “Music of the Spheres” at Shepherd's Bush Empire in London on October 12, 2021.
On this day, the band played 15 songs, and in addition to “Fix You”, Coldplay and Ed Sheeran performed Ed Sheeran's “Shivers” and “Shape of You”.
Also, British singer-songwriter Fleur East participated in the concert as a special guest, who performed “Human Heart”.
“Fix You” was released in 2005 as the second single from Coldplay's third studio album “X&Y”. The song reached No. 4 on the UK Singles chart.
At that time, frontman Chris Martin said of the song, “That song would have come out of that period. The rest of that album (X&Y) I like, but I don't think it's great. Whereas that song… it's the best one because it almost single-handedly got us through a really difficult two years.
