Marie Dahlstrom Releases New EP “Safe Place”: Streaming
Danish singer-songwriter Marie Dahlstrøm released her seventh EP “Safe Place” on October 29, 2021.
The new project follows up the 2020 album “Like Sand” and her collaborative EP “4inARow” released back in January.
The EP comprises of 5-track, including preceding singles “He Is” and “Need You, Pt. 2”.
The EP was written during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020 whilst Marie was pregnant with her son, it follows her journey as she temporarily moved back to Denmark, finding time to appreciate the world around her and reflecting on the things that matter most to her and her family.
Her collaborator Sipprell, Dan Diggas, Dayne Jordan and The Fox Brothers supported her on the EP.
Marie Dahlstrøm said of the EP, “I wrote this EP during lock down. This was a special time in my life, where everything shifted in a way. I was moving out of my apartment in London, the only place I'd ever lived since I moved. There were no gigs or concerts, society was (and still is) in a strange place, and then there was coronavirus and my pregnancy. It gave me a lot of time to reflect about what really matters and just how lucky we are to be living and experiencing this life.”- Photo by Malthe Milthers
