Calum Scott Releases New Song “Rise”
British singer-songwriter Calum Scott released a new song “Rise” on October 1, 2021.
The song is the second single off of his upcoming sophomore album, following “Biblical” released in June.
It was written by Gabe Simon and Calum Scott. Produced by Gabe Simon, Jon "MAGS" Maguire and Zak Lloyd.
He wrote the song during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
“‘Rise’ is a song that celebrates triumph and prevailing, no matter the obstacles,” Calum Scott said of the song. “I wrote ‘Rise’ during lockdown at a time when I was really down on myself.. writing this helped me pick myself up and motivated me to be confident in what I’m doing and where I’m heading.
