Tom Morello Releases New Song “Let's Get The Party Started” featuring Bring Me The Horizon
American rock guitarist Tom Morello teamed up with British rock band Bring Me The Horizon to release a new song “Let's Get The Party Started” along with a lyric video on September 22, 2021.
The song is taken form his upcoming album “The Atlas Underground Fire”, which is set to be released on October 15, 2021.
It was written by Post Malone, Jordan Fish, Oliver Sykes and Tom Morello. Produced by Evil Twin & Zakk Cervini.
Tom Morello and Bring Me The Horizon created the song during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Bring Me The Horizon is really the current standard-bearer of hard rock/metal today, and thank God for them for that,” Tom Morello said. “This song was written on three continents — Oli [Sykes] was in Brazil, Jordan [Fish] was in England, and then I was here in L.A. It was a real United Nations of metal coming together to produce this song, which really feels to me like it captures the angst and the frustration of the pandemic boiling over into an all-time mosh pit.”
He continued, “This song also has one of my favorite guitar solos that I've played in quite a while, as I was really digging deep to make a solo as devastating as the track.”
The new album comprises of 12-track, featuring guest appearances from Bruce Springsteen, Eddie Vedder, Bring Me The Horizon, Phantogram, Chris Stapleton, grandson, Mike Posner, Damian Marley, phem, Protohype, Dennis Lyxzén and Sama' Abdulhadi.- source : Apple Music
