SZA Shares Three New Songs “I Hate You”, “Nightbird” and “Joni” via SoundCloud
American singer-songwriter SZA has surprise-shared three new songs “I Hate You”, “Nightbird” and “Joni” via an anonymous SoundCloud account.
She tweeted "dumping random thoughts" with SoundLoud link on August 22, 2021.
In addition, SZA released an accompanying dance visual for “Joni” with the lyrics on Instagram, featuring dancer Nana Yaa, shot by Blair Caldwell, edited by Annie Bercy and directed by SZA.
“Joni” sampled Elliott Smith's “Angeles”, which was released in 1997. She teased the song in interview with Rolling Stone back in February.
Three songs might be appear on her upcoming sophomore album. She released the debut album “Ctrl” in 2017.-
