Magdalena Bay Releases New Song “Secrets (Your Fire)”
Los Angeles-based alt-pop duo Magdalena Bay released a new song “Secrets (Your Fire)” with an accompanying music video on August 11, 2021.
The song is the second single off of their upcoming debut album “Mercurial World”, following “Chaeri” released last month.
It was written and produced by Matthew Lewin and Mica Tenenbaum.
The video was directed and edited by Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin.
“'Secrets' is about interconnectivity, privacy and digital anxiety,” Magdalena Bay said of the song. “It's also about the need to keep sharing, to keep giving more and more of yourself to faceless strangers in hopes of making friends or fans.”
The debut album comprises of 14-track, produced by Matthew Lewin and Mica Tenenbaum. It is set to be released on October 8, 2021.
