2024 Academy Awards Winners List: “Oppenheimer” Wins Best Picture, Billie Eilish Performs “What Was I Made For?”
The 96th Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles on March 10, 2024.
“Oppenheimer” received a total of 13 nominations, followed by “Poor Things” and “Killers of the Flower Moon” with 11 and 10, respectively.
Finally, “Oppenheimer” won seven categories, the likes of Best Picture, Best directing for Christopher Nolan, Best actor in a leading role for Cillian Murphy, Best actor in a supporting role for Robert Downey Jr, Best cinematography, Best film editing, and Best original score.
“Poor Things” won four categories, including Best actress in a leading role for Emma Stone, Best costume design, Best makeup and hairstyling, and Best production design.
American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish won Best original song with “What Was I Made For?” from “Barbie”, following the 2022 "No Time to Die" from the James Bond film of the same name.
