Emily Burns Shares New Song “Is It Just Me?”
British singer-songwriter Emily Burns has shared a new song “Is It Just Me?” with an accompanying music video.
The track will appear on her upcoming second EP “My Town”, which is due out on November 20th, following the EP “PDA”.
The video was directed by Theo Davies, who created the split screen one-shot piece tracing the ceaseless heartbreak of the central couple.
“I think we all have that one person in our lives that we still think about, no matter how much time has passed and how far we have moved past the relationship,” Emily Burns said of the song. “The person that still appears in our thoughts at the strangest times. And when you hear their name mentioned, it still gives you that pit of the stomach dread and pain you felt as if it were yesterday that you broke up. This song is about that. Wondering if the other person still thinks about you too, or: Is It Just Me?”
She announced a headline tour in the UK in April 2020. The tour kicks off at Rough Trade Bristol in Bristol on April 25, 2020.
