Of Monsters and Men Unveils New Song “Wild Roses”, Performs “Alligator” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon
Icelandic alt-rock band Of Monsters and Men has unveiled a new song “Wild Roses” from their upcoming third studio album “Fever Dream”, which is due out July 26th.
The track is the second single off following "Alligator", and was released exclusively on Spotify in Iceland on June 28th.
The band said, “On Spotify Iceland, you have been able to listen to the song #WildRoses since last Friday. Due to regional issues, we still do not have it in Latin America and the rest of the world. The only thing we have acquired is the cover of the single.”
The album comprises of 11-track and co-produced by Rich Costey. It is their first album since 2015 “Beneath the Skin”.
Frontwoman Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir wrote songs of the album on a laptop at her home, beacuse she was "really tired" of writing songs on an acoustic guitar as it "brought out things in [me] that were predictable". And she said, the album is "more poppy and brighter".
The band appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to perform "Alligator" on July 11th.- lyjgw3gczgM
