Jason Mraz Premieres New Song “More Than Friends” featuring Meghan Trainor
American singer-songwriter Jason Mraz has teamed up with pop star Meghan Trainor for a new song “More Than Friends”.
The song will appear on his upcoming sixth studio album "Know.", which is out August 10, 2018.
It was written by Meghan Trainor and Jason Mraz. The track follows up previously released "Have It All" and "Unlonely" from the album.
Jason Mraz wrote about the song on Facebook;
"There are few artists as talented, joyful, and present as Meghan Trainor. I’ve been fortunate to witness this firsthand in the studio with Meghan creating 'More Than Friends,' the newest early-release track from my forthcoming album Know."
Meghan Trainor said;
“I loved working with Jason. I had to pretend I wasn’t freaking out the whole time as I’m his biggest fan. Not only is he so talented, but he’s extremely humble and kind too.”- Jason Mraz was supposed to perform with Demi Lovato Toronto this weekend, but unfortunately the concert was cancelled due to her health problem.
Demi Lovato was hospitalized to a local hospital in Los Angeles due to a drug overdose on July 24.
He said, "Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be playing in Toronto this weekend. My sincerest apologies to my fans and to the fans of Demi Lovato. We wish her good health & recovery." - source : Billboard
