Charli XCX Premieres New Music Video for “Boys” featuring Joe Jonas, Wiz Khalifa, G-Eazy, Charlie Puth and more
British singer-songwriter Charli XCX premiered a new song "Boys" on July 26. On the same day, she dropped a music video for it.
The song serves as the second single from her untitled and forthcoming third studio album, which will follow her March-released mixtape, Number 1 "Angel".
The track was written by Emily Warren, Ingrid Andress, Cass Lowe, Michael Pollack, Ari Leff and Jerker Hansson.
The music video was directed by Charli XCX herself and Sarah McColgan, and began production in April 2017.
The video features a multitude of different celebrity cameos, the likes of Hurts frontman Theo Hutchcraft, Cameron Dallas, Joe Jonas, Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie, Jack Antonoff, producer Mark Ronson, singer Mac DeMarco, Riz Ahmed, Ty Dolla $ign, Jay Park, Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig and former member Rostam Batmanglij, Charlie Puth, Bring Me the Horizon singer Oliver Sykes, The Vamps's Tristan Evans & James McVey, ONE OK ROCK's Takahiro Moriuchi, Chromeo, Aminé, Denzel Curry, Flume, Will.i.am, G-Eazy, Stormzy, Kaytranada, MNEK, Stormzy, Tinie Tempah, Joey Badass, Bastille's Dan Smith, Tommy €A$H, YouTube personalities Connor Franta and Caspar Lee, and Olympic diver Tom Daley, amongst others.-
