Crashing Atlas Releases New Song “Ascend”
Baltimore-based alternative rock band Crashing Atlas has released a new song "Ascend" from their upcoming debut EP of the same name, due out September 22, 2017.
The concept behind "Ascend" is about being in an unpleasant situation while remaining aware that there is a Utopian type place that one could escape to if so desired. The title track is about breaking free of that negative situation, whether it be a bad relationship, drug use or depression, and rising above it. The song reminds us of Paramore.
Crashing Atlas was formed in 2016, consisting of Shelby Celine (vocals), Doug Jokerst (guitar), Felix Nieto (guitar) and Chris Bloskey (drums). Since then, in addition to their original song, they has shared some covers the likes of Linkin Park, Marcy Playground, Yellowcard, Imagine Dragons, Ed Sheeran and The Neighbourhood on SoundCloud.
The band supported as opening act of mainstream artists like Chris Daughtry, Mag!c and Ernie Ball on their tour.
Also, The band embarks their own tour to promote the EP at Holston River Brewing Company in on October 19, 2917. Learn more about tour dates, click here.- source : Soundfiction
