  • We The Kings Premieres New Song “Ally”

  • American rock band We The Kings has shared a new song "Ally". The song follows their smash hits "Sad Song" and "The Story Of Tonight". "Sad Song" is taken from their 4th studio album "Somewhere Somehow", which was released in 2013. Many fans have talked about why they released the song as a new single in 4 years later.

    The new song "Ally" is promotional single from their forthcoming seventh studio album in 2 years.
    Last September, the band frontman Travis Clark posted on Instagram that he was writing music for their new album in his studio in Florida. The new song reminds us of Imogen Heap "Hide And Seek".
    Also, the song supports of Gay Pride month and dedicated to all those who were effected by the tragedy that happened at Pulse Nightclub.
    On June 12, 2016, a 29-year-old security guard, killed 49 people and wounded 58 others in a terrorist attack/hate crime inside Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida..

    About the new song, Travis Clark wrote on Facebook;
    "This song was written with hopefulness for Human Rights and EQUALITY for the world we live in and all the worlds after. We’ve decided to release it today specifically in support of Gay Pride month and dedicate it to all those who were effected by the tragedy that happened at Pulse Nightclub just a few miles away from where I live in Orlando, Florida. No one ever deserves to be treated unfair, disrespectful, or without love. Let’s all accept each other as brothers and sisters and not forget that we are all EQUAL and deserve nothing but love and kindness. I hope this song can help everyone in need of a friend and an ally. Let’s not be just United within our countries, but let’s be a United World. We really like the idea of just releasing music randomly, especially if it’s something that truly means so much to us. We love you all and appreciate all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years, it’s time to give that same love and support to every soul on this earth. - Travis"

  • We the Kings was formed in 2005, currently consisting of Travis Clark (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards), Hunter Thomsen (lead guitar, backing vocals), Danny Duncan (drums, percussion), Charles Trippy (bass guitar) and Coley O'Toole (keyboards, backing vocals, rhythm guitar).
    To date, the band has released six studio albums, their last album "Strange Love" was released in 2015.
    In 2016, the band announced the tour that would start the tour for the ten year anniversary of their debut album through May 2017.
    The new album is expected to be released later in 2017.
    The band will perform live at Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival on August 19. In addition to We The Kings, the festival features BIG SEAN, Major Lazer, Zedd, Bebe Rexha, Demi Lovato, DJ Khaled and more, total of 24 artists.
