Julia Michaels Premieres New Song “Uh Huh”
Back in January, American singer-songwriter Julia Carin Cavazos, aka Julia Michaels has released a debut song "Issues". This song became smash hit soon, currently sitting at No. 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and at No. 10 on the UK singles Charts.
On June 1st, following the debut song, she dropped a new song "Uh Huh". Produced by Mattman & Robin, who recently produced Imagine Dragons' "Believer" and also has produced Ellie Goulding's "Fifty Shades of Grey".
The track is taken from her upcoming third EP "Nervous System", which will be released later this year.
About the new song with Mattman & Robin, she said;
"It’s electric how symmetric we both get when you lay beside me. It’s phonetic, how our mouths grip almost too tight."
Also The 23-year-old songwriter told Harper's Bazaar about her new EP;
"Right now, the two main subjects that I talk about are the emotional side of me and the sexual side of me, and that’s because those are the two that I know best of myself, so those are the easiest to write about. I think a lot of the EP is going to be of that topic."
Recently, she wrote Selena Gomez's newest song "Bad Liar", in the past she has penned Selena Gomez's second album "Revival" including 8 songs.-
