Meghan Trainor Premieres New Song “I'm A Lady” from Smurfs: The Lost Village Soundtrack
Meghan Trainor's new song "I'm A Lady" was released via Spotify. The song is taken from the soundtrack of the upcoming new animated film “Smurfs: The Lost Village”.
She has alrady filmed the music video for it, which will be premiered in a few days. About the video, MTV reports, describing it as "a Meghan Trianor, upbeat, love-yourself woman anthem, like I do!".
"Smurfs: The Lost Village" is based on The Smurfs comic book series created by the Belgian comics artist Peyo and is a reboot film, unrelated to Sony's live-action/animated film series. Directed by Kelly Asbury, starring Demi Lovato as Smurfette, Mandy Patinkin as Papa Smurf, Jack McBrayer as Clumsy Smurf, Danny Pudi as Brainy Smurf, Joe Manganiello as Hefty Smurf, and Rainn Wilson as Gargamel. Also, Meghan Trainor plays as Smurf Melody on the film.
The film is set to be released on April 7, 2017.
The new sog is the follow-up to "Better" with Yo Gotti, which was from her sophomore album "Thank You". The album peaked at #3 on US Billboard 200 and at #5 on the UK Albums chart.-
