Official US Trailer for “A Wrinkle in Time” Starring Chris Pine, Reese Witherspoon and Oprah Winfrey
Walt Disney Pictures debuted a official US trailer for “A Wrinkle in Time” during he 2017 American Music Awards.
Teaser trailer was prmiered back in July, directed by Ava DuVernay, starring Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Peña, Storm Reid, Zach Galifianakis, and Chris Pine.
The filme is besd on the 1962 novel of the same name by Madeleine L'Engle. In 2003, the novel was made a television adaptation by Canadian production companies.
"A Wrinkle in Time" was first published in 1962, and in 1979 with illustrations by Leo and Diane Dillon.
The book won the Newbery Medal, Sequoyah Book Award, and Lewis Carroll Shelf Award, and was runner-up for the Hans Christian Andersen Award.
Principal photography on the film began on November 2, 2016, in Los Angeles, California. The film is set to be relesed on March 9, 2018.
Plot:
A young girl named Meg Murry (Storm Reid), who searches for her missing father Alexander Murry (Chris Pine) along with her younger brother Charles Wallace (Deric McCabe) and her friend Calvin O’Keefe (Levi Miller), as well as taking with help of a trio of witches (Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, and Mindy Kaling).
Along the way, they visits several fantastic planets and discovers that the universe is under attack by a personification of evil, The Black Thing.
The witches explain that they’re trying to find warriors to help them serve the light, and that the only person who can save her father from the darkness is Meg.- Title:
